How we work with instructors
Six points, so you know exactly what you’re walking into. They are the same for every instructor and they don’t change at the quote stage. Read them first — better now than after you’ve built a syllabus around a different assumption.
What we bring
Six active rigging points at the private hotel, ten more over the lagoon by the end of 2026, plus rooms, a kitchen, kayaks, and a team that runs the bookings, the housing, the food and the safety. You bring the teaching and your people.
This is a quote request, not a contract.
Sending the form commits you to nothing and costs you nothing. If we proceed, a separate signed agreement follows.
We pay you from enrollment, in USD, after the retreat runs.
There is no advance, no deposit to you, no guarantee, no fixed fee, and no payment in any other currency. We don’t earn until it sells either. We want your retreat to make you money — it should turn a profit for both of us.
A USD 1,000 deposit from you blocks your dates.
It falls due only when you decide to go ahead, and it holds the calendar, rooms, rigs, kayaks and every other service for your dates. Until it is paid, none of that is held. The same cancellation rules apply to it as to any other booking.
If it does not sell, it does not run.
If minimum enrollment is not reached by the cut-off date, Reset Retreats may cancel. No fee is owed to you, and your own flights, insurance and other costs are not reimbursed.
Your travel, room, meals, papers and cover are yours.
We do not book or pay flights, we do not reimburse travel, and transfers are at your cost. Your room and meals are not included. Your visa, permits, work authorisation and personal insurance are entirely your responsibility — we do not sponsor, advise on, or resolve immigration matters.
Rigging, capacity and safety are our call — and our responsibility.
We have 6 active points at the private hotel today, at 8 m (26 ft), with 10 more on the lakefront by the end of 2026 — 16 in total. Crash mats are mandatory under every apparatus. Room availability changes and is confirmed per dates, not promised in advance. We’d rather turn away a booking than hang something we can’t stand behind, so if your numbers exceed what we can safely house or supervise, we’ll say so early.
